ok they asked me to do this so.... here's my intro
My primary interest in 1911 Guns is for purposes of utilizing them in the shooting sports.
I like them accurized, smooth, and extremely well made. I own 4 presently - one is a dedicat3d wad gun, one has co witnessed sights, the other two have docter optics law enforcement red dot sights mounted I their rear sight cutouts...
I'm NRA life Member and member of the NY State Rifle and Pistol Association,
I compete in precision pistol, uspsa, and international pistol.
My favorite 1911s have all either been built or rebuilt by Bunker Arms and they all shoot lights out cloverleafs at 50 yards.. now if only I could shoot that well life would be sweet.
I handload for multiple pistol and rifle calibers, and just started casting my own bullets.
The 1911 is my favorite platform - love mine set up with Optics and or co witnessed with irons. I also own an AW 93 Feinwerkbau and a Smith model 41 that was tuned up by David Sams.
