New to Boomer Shooter

Hey everyone,

New to Boomer Shooter. Been shooting since I was young (shotguns, 22s), just started shooting pistols seriously within the past few years. Lifelong student of martial arts/combatives, currently studying, and soon hoping to be an instructor in, Sayoc Kali. Currently working as a tattoo artist in Tulsa, OK.

Just bought my first complete upper, didn't have enough scratch to do a full build yet, so this is what I'm working with:

BCM 16in SS Middy w/ MOE hanguard, Magpul BUIS, BCM BCG and Gunfighter CH. Luckily, I have a best friend who has already completed his build, and doesn't mind swapping out uppers to let me play with my new toy.

Glock and SW M&P shooter. Previously owned a Sig P229 (which I miss), and a SW Sigma (which I do not miss). Glad to be here!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. It's good to be here! I can't wait to meet you all at matches. I've already been to a couple with a buddy of mine that also frequents this forum. Shot a steel challenge, and spectated a pistol/rifle match that my buddy participated in, all at USSA. Maybe we've crossed paths before. Feel free to say hi, I'm the big dude with the tattoos.
