There is a new gun shop, Shooters Auctions, next to BiLo in the Summerville Galleria (where Trolley and Bacons Bridge/165 meet).

And I will never go there and will tell my friends to stay away because of how the owner treated me when I asked a question of one of the other users of the auction site on Facebook (because I couldn't get any answers through the actual site about the rules...) about why they just REPEATEDLY clicked "bid", raising the price...I mean hell..the point was to get a gun for less money, right? I also won the bid that day, it even told me "WINNER!" etc, then the screen REFRESHED, and bidding re-commenced with 7 seconds on the clock. WTF????? So I question it. Then, the owner posts THIS:

So, he threatened to contact the administrators of the entire Internet

Then, he threatened to use my IP address against me. :| Because of THAT, I said a legitimate business would NEVER do what he did, and said I'd call my attorney if he didn't remove the information he posted about he and that he could deal with the threat of hacking my computer and the Federal implications of computer hacking. He ultimately took the whole thing down after that. Still, clearly he's an uneducated pile of four letter words.

I would advise the administrators of this website NOT to take donations or advertising money from this guy. If he offers it, tell me, and I will give you what I can instead. If ya'll have to take money from the guy to stay afloat or something like that, I understand, but I will be leaving the site. Nothing personal, I just won't associate with that trash.

In short, DO NOT SUPPORT SHOOTER AUCTIONS.

Basic Rule of Business: 'Make a customer happy, he'll tell 3 people... make him mad, he'll tell all of them!'
Buying fun stuff should be fun..when it ain't, it stinks.

Are they associated with the ammo dump across the street or a competitor? I used to like the ammo dump and did a couple transfers through them until I went in there early last January and saw he was charging $20 for a 20 round box of American Eagle .223 and $20 for a Thermold AR magazine. I know we were all a little scared about new laws that might be coming but I know he didn't pay higher prices for his inventory that soon. He was gouging pure and simple I will never go back.

New shop - Shooter Auctions is closed?

I went by the shop last week, a friend told me that they were having a big sale. Well, it must have been a going out of business sale. The doors were locked in the middle of the day, all of the guns were gone and most of the display cases, etc were also gone. It looks like the website is no longer up either.

Does anyone know what happened to them? I had been in there before but never bought anything from them.

I think the radio add said they were having a moving sale. I don't recall where they are moving too. I went in there once and wasn't impressed. Same high prices as every other gun shop in the area.I already have a good FFL and like the company at a gun shop closer to my house better so I haven't felt a need to return.
