New Shooter from El Paso

I'm new to competitive shooting, I just started last August. I recently moved Fort Campbell with the 101st Airborne Division to Fort Bliss with the 1st Armored Division.

I have already joined up with for the contingency program and I'm excited to be a part of a team. I look forward to meeting you and seeing other boomer shooters at some of the matches this year!

Forgot to mention that Ive shot 3 Gun exclusively so far. Hoping to get into IPSC or USPSA within a few hours of El Paso if anyone knows of some good matches or ranges.

Im originally from there and visit at least once a year. Iv'e always wanted to shoot a match down there. What is the USPSA match schedule like out there and which ranges hosts matches?

Some quick google-ing and I found that they host matches at the Fort Bliss Practical Pistol Club. Looks like a short match. 3 field courses and a classifier on the 2nd saturdays.
