New s c bill

In view of the previous post, I accept being admonished for my personal views which may have been interpreted as overly aggressive.....I removed those posts............Rest assured that I will not post further comment on any political pro or anti gun subject......I will refrain from discussion of what is good or not good for the cause of supporting the rights covered by our constitution............I served my country and I have been a patriotic law abiding citizen for 68 years.......I have no further comment nor will I read those comments on the subject of our constitutional rights on this forum......

With that being said:.....I joined this forum believing that it was a group mostly made up of local people that I could even drive a short distance and meet them FTF....I hoped that I might meet some of you at the local ranges and swap shooting stories and play with our firearms together........I hoped that I could share my life long firearm experiences and enjoy the experiences of others.......I have become very enamored with my silly 22 cal military clones and want to share the beauty of having cheap to shoot look a likes that feel and appear very similar to the real thing...................I joined to have fun!!!

If further comment addressed to me does not fit in with the reasons I joined this forum, I would ask that you not involve me.

I wish blessing on all of you for this new year...I pray for the health and safety of you and your families.

I see no underlining in your posts, although your posts do have lots of periods in between. Is the periods what you are referring to? We've never seen anything like that before if so. Perhaps your period key is a bit sticky?
 
By your own words all you really have are 22 clones so I am sorry but you don't have in it what some of us do.

Maybe you don't enjoy diversity or your god given rights I don't know and I don't care but what carsontech said is how ALL real Americans should feel. 68 years old does not make intelligence I have met a many ignorant elders......and serving in the millitary I am sorry but you can still be a coward.

If someone is not willing to stand up and fight for what is THEIRS then I guess they fit both in my book ignorant and a coward and may not be deserving of all that have died to give you these rights.

The periods are just a bad habit of mine that I put in between sentenses...................Someone else did this a long time ago on one of the tropical fish forums I frequented and it just stuck with me.

Rosea Carpa, now YOU need to chill out a bit. Calling someone ignorant and a coward is disrespectful behavior and open flaming.

What the hell is going on here??? The media is bad enough but we never have really had problems like this here. Yes, people are encouraged to speak their minds- that's why things have usually run smoothly... until now. Some posts and youtube things can easily be misconstrued or seen as pro militant behavior. However, they are not all actually bad- it comes down to whether they are taken out of context.

Here is what I am trying to say:

The WHOLE COUNTRY is overreacting to the point that people that even agree with each other are arguing with themselves. People are starting to hear jackboots in their sleep for crying out loud! Everyone should try to relax, try to work together, and maybe even deal with the REAL problems at hand. That is for EVERYONE in this country to hopefully do this. The only ones benefiting from all of this so far is the media and them damn lawyers.

Now, lets all get this Forum back to a HAPPY place. The LAST things we want to have here is censorship, flamewars, thread lockings, temp bans and permanent bans- we'll leave that to some other Forums out there.

P.S.: you don't want me to cool y'all off with one of our winter storms from up here, DO YOU? I promise I will dance my ass off and conjure up an ice age to send down there. I KNOW y'all don't have ANY snowplows or snowshovels too!!! :twisted:

No crap I was walking the dog yesterday and had a mosquito buzzing around... While I was in shorts and a t shirt .. In the middle of January!
 
Well, right now it is a cool 15 degrees outside- I can safely say there are NO mosquitos around now! Last thursday I was in NH and got locked out of a building wearing only sneakers, sweatpants and a Forum t-shirt. Temperature was 27 degrees not including wind chill factor, snowy and windy as hell. Tried to get a little shelter with the roof overhang, was just getting dripped on like water torture. I pulled my arms into my shirt like a turtle and wrapped them around my front to help keep my core temperature up. Dealt with this for a little over an hour and a half before I finally could get back in. It could have been a lot worse for me!!!
 
You got lucky. Where I grew up, we still played golf in that weather. It wasn't cold until your nostrils froze up. When some said there was a blizzard, we said "it's snowing out, eh."
 
Yeah, The colder climes can make life interesting. I used to camp in the snow when I was in the Boy Scouts.

Now Frost used to think snow was an urban myth. That is until he came up my way to visit family and got blindsided with it once he was here! Lucky for him he wasn't further up north!!! :lol:
 
a son lived in pa. would joke about us getting snow in sc.

better run to the store or you wont have your milk sandwiches.
 
Yes, snow is fun. I remember once in my 20's, we got so much snow that the city shutdown. Despite having a fairly substantial snow removal budget, it was coming faster than they could plow. Other than a few main streets, nobody could drive anywhere.

My neighbor and I were out cruising around on our snow machines and got flagged down by an ambulance crew. They were trying to get to a pregnant lady, and the ambulance couldn't go any further. We got the two guys and their kit to the ladies house, and towed her back to the ambulance on a borrowed toboggan.

Looking back, I don't know how we made it through some of those big snowfalls without the likes of FEMA showing up to save the day. :lol:
 
Have to chime in with my worst snow story.

I used to be a flying crew chief in the USAF. We regularly landed to refuel/reload at Elmendorf AFB, which is right outside of Anchorage AK. Now normally we would bypass if it was snowing badly, but once we decided to risk it and got on the ground right before the snow started really coming down.

Anyway, the snowplows the locals used on the runways/taxiways were the size of combines, and threw the 3-4' deep snow in rooster tails higher than our aircraft's tail (C17). The really cool thing is they motored along at about 60mph down the runway doing that, 4 of them abreast. It was a very awesome sight and unfortunately before I bought a camera for traveling.

So, yeah. Snow.
 
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to throw this thread off on a tangent. This is why I stay with this Forum. We always come back to being gun people and civilized. Now, what was this thread about? :lol:
 
we are up to snow.

think that mag would break if it got cold enough and dropped it?

they are taking pre-orders, or was that the 50 rd AR mag, so by the time it hits the shelves if it does it wont be $70.
