So a couple months ago I purchased a Redfield 4-12x40 scope for my 30-06. Well needless to say after going throuh 3 different types of ammo I couldn't shoot a group tighter that 9 inches. I brought my problem to the forum and and many inputs we came to the conclusion that it wasn't me or my rifle it was the scope. I sent it back and the new one came in the mail this week. I took the rifle to the range and mounted the fresh optics at the 25 yard range. After a quick bore site I stepped over to the 50. Put 3 on paper, adjusted and stepped over to the 100 yard. Well here is a photo of 3, 3 shot groups I did with off the shelf Walmart special Federal ammo. Not too bad if I may say so myself. Glad to know my hunting rifle is back in commision.
