New OSU Uniforms Unveiled

I feel quite the opposite. The all black uniforms are always my favorite. For example, the ones that were supposed to be unveiled last halloween, but came out two days later. Black is back!
 
I never have been a big fan of the "alternative" uniforms like Oregon. I am more old fashioned and traditional. Of course, I wish we were still called Oklahoma A&M
 
I go to OSU and I LOVE the black uniforms we have already. The black with white pants looked AWESOME! I am SO ready for football season to start!!!!!!
 
I graduated from OSU in 2010 and thought the black uniforms were dumb. They're 'ok' for special games like Texas and Halloween, I guess. But the whole 'Phantom Pete' was dumb and flopped almost as bad as the opening song a couple years ago. OSU is supposed to e orange. Orange Power duh. I don't think the 'black power' chant would go so well.

It's always nice to see more Pokes fans here. And even better to see undergrads and graduates of the State's University.

Just please tell me your not part of the 'paddle posse'.
 
I'm doing my internship right now then I only have 21 hours left for my B.A. in Applied Sociology. "Cowboys Forever" SUCKED! I hated it..... almost trashed the season. Im not in the paddle people, I'm one of the fans standing, yelling, and chanting with my buddies the whole game.

I do like the throw back orange on orange we used one game a while back.
 
I think they should go with Crimson or Creme or something like that :P




I like the all white. All black looks cool when its a single person posing for a picture but when there are 11 running around on the field its kinda blah i think. All orange works too.

Still got to beat Texas... and everyone else in the Conference to be "somebody".

Everybody else has some sort of all black uniforms it seems... maybe OSU should too.

Now, up in South Bend.... we save the Kelly Green Jerseys for days we need a miracle.....
 
Not a fan of the en vogue alternative, all black, etc. uniforms. Two rules of great teams. 1, tradition means everything (like not changing your uniforms every couple of years). 2, you don't need your name on the back of the jersey. If you play well enough, they're going to know who and where you are without needing your name.

I was always partial to the past logos. This is still the brand they use on the university's livestock. I had a horse several years ago that was sporting this brand.

I thought it really said "cowboy"

So... why did they get away from "A and M"? No shame in advertising that any Land Grant State college that majors in Ag science, engineering and other technical stuff. After all.... that's what made the US the world leader for years.

Maybe we would be in better shape if we all took a step back and considered our heritage.
