I follow the Facebook page but never knew this page existed, I'm happy I found it though! I've wanted a 1911 for around 12 years and recently was able to purchase my first. Got a Ruger SR1911, so far I'm very pleased with it. Now if this south central Kansas weather will cooperate I can go shoot some more. Thanks for having me!

My first 1911 was the Ruger. I love the gun. The only thing I've done is replace the grip panels. Probably 200 rounds through it so far. Problem free! Welcome.

I agree completely about the weather. It would be great if it could stay dry for more than two days in a row!

Wichita KS is much the same we have had a lot of rain this past two months and it is wet out. One day rain one day sun if we are lucky but will change soon.
