I have been hearing alot about the smart gun recently and so I started to look online and found this article. I didn't know there was a law in New Jersey that states they will only be able to sell smart guns once they are on the market. I wonder how this could affect future laws.

So, now that "smart guns" are available, I guess New Jersey gun manufactures could have three years to change their guns over to the new tech?

If I remember correctly the law in Jersey says they have 3 years once on goes on sell. That is why there was the overwhelming push to stop the sell in California and just recently in Maryland.

The guy in California that put one in his gun shop almost got lynched. He pulled it, and said he won't try that again.

What is hilarious to me is that the same legislators who support these "smart guns" are the same ones who oppose voter ID laws as unconstitutional.
