New in Oklahoma

Hello from a new member from Oklahoma. I work in IT, but really wish that I could stay on the range all day with an endless supply of freedom food for my 1911. I have been a fan of the 1911 since my father taught me to shoot one in my youth. Currently, I own two 1911s, but there's always a desire for more. I've even been toying with the idea of purchasing my first 9mm 1911. I came here to find out more about peoples experience with 9mm 1911s, and to get a bit more information on them.

Oh by the way welcome! I am a Veteran of 20 years in Oklahoma and Kansas (Just the last 2 in Kansas) so I am familiar with the weather. Except for being in Tornado Alley, I liked it, nice people, lower cost of living.
