Here is the prototype of a new holster I'm building. It's an IWB/OWB. The straps are removable and it has 1 3/4 belt loops. It works with mounted optics also.

Looks to ride nice and high the way I like it!
Affirm, I'll be wearing it for awhile in the IWB position and then the OWB position, to see if there are any kinks to be worked out. Once I feel it's right, I'll post it and place it on my website.
 
Just curious, why the extended "sweat guard" on the outboard side if no ambi?
 
The holster was designed for use of red dot sights also. It helps "cradle" the sight a little. If a person didn't want it, it could be not included in the build. The picture is just a prototype. I'm wearing it everyday to see what hang ups it might have. So far so good. The portion your inquiring about, I've also found helps as a guide in reholstering. But, once again, it'll be a preference. Thank you for your question though.
