My name is Darren and love and prefer the 1911 platform. I'm 35 and I've been carrying since I was legally able to and have enjoyed doing so. Currently I live in Alabama where you a still free to protect yourself and your kids even allowing legally to carry in schools. Outdoors is where I'm comfortable but I also don't mind modern comforts. Thank everyone in advance for the knowledge that I'll learn by being here and maybe I'll be able to help someone else as well.
