I am truly old school. Carried one in the Army and off and on during 47 years of LEO. Some admins kept changing to the newest and greatest but when I was on the range as the Range Master, I always carried my Colt 1911 locked and cocked. It never failed me when it needed it. It spoke true, if you know what I mean.
