Hello all!!
Let me open by saying Boomer Sooner! I am new to the Forum! I have been fishing my whole life and recently got into hunting about 3 years ago. My first real hunting season was last year. I shot my first doe on opening weekend at 291 yards free standing. It was awesome. And yes, my husband's jaw about hit the ground. And yes, I dropped her then did a small dance. lol. Looking forward to chatting with all of y'all!

uuuhhhh, you mean "GO POKES"? Just kidding. Contrary to the sound of our name, some of us are Cowboy fans. :)

I do have a pic of her! She was about 125 pounds. I did learn something too on that kill.... If you kill it, you have to clean it and pack it out.... it's weird when the muscles are still twitching after you cut it out...
