Does anyone know anything about this shotgun yet ? I really think I want to buy the M2 but this looks good too. I've also contemplated the VMT.... If anyone knows of one ... Or a M2 for sale let me know please. Since I'm new & can't post a WTB add in the classifieds I figured this post may kill 2 birds w one stone.

I heard the beretta rep was at nationals with one to show off.

Doesn't quite look 3 gun ready with that 5 round tube though.
 
Looks like its got the safety out in front of the trigger like a Benelli nova which I'm not a fan of.

No barrel clamp so you may still have to buy one if you ever want to sling the shotgun.

I didn't see if they had a real Hi Viz front sight out front. I do like the mid bead for slugs.

The stock doesn't have the foam cheek piece like the Versamax or M2 which is a bummer.

It looks like the lifter maybe long enough to not need welding which is a huge plus.
 
Here's the spec's:
nordic +5tube,shooters source extension nordic clamp, matchsaver, tru glo front sight, 10/22 rear, welded lifter and opened port by c-rums. The only thing left is the kick off, I shot another beretta today with one on it, that thing is the beezneez. Felt like shooting a 20 ga.

What parts did Magpul make for that M2?

This guy named Accurate Ron (who happens to be the love child of Chuck Norris and Farrah Fawcett) once told me that I can either get the real deal (M2) and use my time practicing how to run it, or I can gravitate towards the latest fad of the week (VM, CZ, Beretta etc.) and try to get it running as good as the M2 to the point where frustration takes over and it ends up in the classifieds looking for a trade towards a Benelli.

Is the barrel chopped?
The rib looks like it goes flush & square to the end of the barrel.
Has it been rethreaded for chokes?
 
It's basically a hydraulic recoil pad. I shot one with 3 1/2 loads in it and was seriously amazed. It tamed it down a lot. I put some light loads like we shoot and it felt like a 20ga.

I figured, but I didn't wanna start a flame war like Jessie and kurt have going on over in the rifle thread. Lol. A magpul sticker on your shotgun, is just like not wearing an ac/dc t-shirt to an ac/dc concert. You don't wanna be THAT guy.
