So I just got this awesome EVO enhanced G2 BCG from Iron city rifle works. But i have some questions before I try it out, I am currently running a stag arms 3G with the Seekins ATC brake.
1- should i be switching to an adjustable gas block? if I don't what issues will it cause?
2- if i need a new gas block is there anything else i should be changing from the factory 3G and why?

thanks and can't wait to try this new BCG out.

I use a light bcg with a standard gas block (rifle length) and JP lightened buffer with total reliability.
I got away from adjustable gas blocks when I had 2 of them close up during matches.

The whole point in moving to a lightweight carrier is recoil reduction. If you want the most recoil reduction out of your rifle, go to an adjustable gas block. Using a non-adjustable gas block with a lightened carrier can cause it's own issues of running the bolt too fast, bouncing, etc.

The people who preach against adjustable gas systems are the ones who didn't set them up correctly. I've been running them without issue for years.

I use seekin's adj gas blocks on all my guns and never have a problem. I use lightened carriers and buffers, turn gas off, shoot one at a time opening it 1/2 turn untill lockback and good to go.
I bet they look stupid on your bolt guns

I don't use anything but adjustable gas blocks. Yes I've rain them too close to the ragged edge and ran out of gas when the weather got cold. That's on me fur not fully testing the system.

The seekins block is cheap and works. I have several myself and forum sponsor make ready pro shop sells them.
