Sold/Expired New AR group buy?

hey guys, im wanting to build an AR and was wondering if any other group buys are in the works?

Doesn't look like any things going on right now but you could start a post to gauge interest? Are you wanting just upper and lower or complete rifle or a kit ? I think you need to pm a mod to get everything lined up.

I don't think you're going to get much interest in a complete kit group buy unless it's around $500 for a quality build with at least a mid-length gas barrel. It's going to be a tough sell for sure.
You're better off doing a group buy on stripped uppers and lowers and then getting the other parts elsewhere.

If you're just wanting an inexpensive range plinker, send a PM to McGuire. He had some 16" carbine kits minus the lower for $400.

I'd be down for 1-2 stripped lowers and/or uppers. I can probably come with with friends who want 2-4 more.

If we get another group buy kicked off that would be awesome. is Loki the only option we have? last time did anyone check with Wilson combat or maybe Black Rain?

I haven't checked with the other two but I would assume that those 2 companies are going to be more expensive and because of that there won't be much participation in a group buy for them and therefore we probably wouldn't get a discounted price.

I say we go with LOKI because I've dealt with them before, they're willing to throw in other parts such as barrels, bolts, etc. if we buy enough lowers. They're cheaper in price so we'd get a bigger turnout. They're local. And they're a sponsor.

Sounds like a plan, since we have one in the books with them maybe they will be even more willing to get there products in more hands. I really really like the billet lowers Loki has.

We've actually done 3 group buys with them. I'll send LOKI an email and see what kinds of prices we can get for forged and billet as well as barrels etc.

Just remember the billet receivers have to be used as a set.
