Not sure if y'all saw it yet but American Trigger recently came out with a flat version of their awesome AR Gold trigger.

JTSUM15 saves you 15% on this new version too.

I've been using the CMC flat trigger for a bit, and I prefer the curved.
Just couldn't get used to it, some guys are all about it though.

I have long fingers and like flat triggers in my rifle and 2011. I was using the excellent flat CMC but now have a rise armament for little over 1yr. It's very much like the gold IMO with a more positive reset.

Can you extrapolate? Why long finger likes flat trigger? Where it lands on trigger, a slightly length from Palm to face of trigger etc.

I really noticed the most difference with 2011 trigger. Basically gets trigger finger more of a 90° angle to the trigger which seemed to help me on follow up shots expecially. I guess it's really probably shooter preference but flat triggers feel more natural to me also and I think I can keep a more consistant grip not feeling like I reach for the trigger which also gives me a more consistant finger placement. Or maybe I just want to think the flat trigger is helping me. Either way I prefer them :)

It's not that the trigger is flat that's getting you to the 90 degrees, it's that the flat trigger you are using is longer.

Yes very true Mike. I didn't think about it that way but yes I use the longest I could find, STI gunsmith blank, flat trigger in my 2011. So it technically is a long trigger I like more than a flat trigger I suppose but being flat just makes it longer.
