Hey guys,

If you don't know I am a newer memeber and just posted a intro about me in the intro section. I came here to ask if any of you have delt with seekins precision before. I have my rifle narrowed down between the seekins SPRO3G or the a custom build by rainier arms.. I know there might be better options out there but from the two listed what would you recommend? I have 25% off at my local dealer so I am wanting to spend it wisely... Oh also the DD m4v11 pro.

Be patient with me I am new and just still trying to soak everything in haaha

God bless

I agree that you'll be better off building your own. I have friends that bought guns from various manufcaturers. They were all great rifles, but they all ended up changing things on them. Comps, stocks, grips, triggers, etc. I built mine from the ground up and love it.

If you don't want to build, I think Jesse has some discount codes for Rhino rifles.

Rifles are all pretty much the same elephant dung. Buy or build what looks and feels cool to you. Some guys build based on what they can get deals on. I'm pretty sure I could win matches with a parts gun from the arfcom classifieds but it would be ugly so I'd feel dirty doing so.

Make sure you checkout the sweet carbon fiber goodness from Rhino Arms.

JTRhino10 saves you 10% on anything rhino or ap customs sells.

Is the rifle just for 3gun or do you have other uses in mind? I'd recommend the DD. It's a nice lightweight rifle. DD's are also dead nuts reliable. The issue that crops up with a lot of home-brewed rifles is that not all parts are created equally and/or within tolerance spec. Assembling an AR is not difficult, but can be done incorrectly. I work as an armorer in a large metro-Atlanta shop and see/fix home brews on a daily basis. There are ways to tune the gun to make it softer shooting for competition, but a lot of guys put parts in a rifle without understanding how it might affect/interface with the other parts and thus create reliability issues for themselves.

Start with the DD, it's a solid platform and add a good comp (JP, SJC, etc) and you'll have a great setup.
