Love the new AR. I just ordered a couple of 300BLK barrels for some SBR/Suppressor builds today! I'm going to use the LAR amdi side-charging uppers for them. Since there's no charging handle, there's no blowback when suppressing. Too bad there is a 6 week lead time on the barrels though.

specs

upper dpms bull barrel 1x9 twist no fwd assist or dust cover
lower surplus arms, delton lpk and magpul grip
Magpul MOE stock and handguard
Cheap Tasco scope

ON order:
Lots of ammo and a forward grip

this thing is so front heavy with that barrel

Not true. You'll still get blowback. You should consider using RTV on the small screw that is threaded where the CH would normally go. Also, you'll get some blowback from the sides, but it doesn't hit your face as bad. I still love my LAR though, don't get me wrong.
