Picked up a New Best Friend at the Jamil Gun Show in Columbia today. Bob gave me an out the door price to good to pass up...seriously absolutely to good to pass up. Now I had planed on picking up a new 1911 of soem sort, and he had several nice Rock Islands but this Sig 250 compact is in 45 ACP and I just got sexually aroused looking at it and when he said he could "make me a deal" If I had cash, which I did because of last years dealing with him I came fully prepared to buy something from him.

Frost I will tell you that he is able to be very competitive in everything I have gotten from him. He can give you great pricing if you pay cash. The deal I got on the Sig 250 was "SIGNIFICANT" and much better than any other dealer at the show. I checked all of the dealers that had one for sale at the show and I speak authoritatively on that. On another note regarding the show I believe that some dealers are still higher than a cats back on some of their offerings but many of the dealers are coming back into reality on pricing. Now some of the people walking around trying to make deals with what they brought are still expecting people to compensate them for buying at higher prices during the scare. Some are just not willing to accept that they got burned.....ah well
 
LOL! I got another toy from Upstate Armory, This has been my 2nd purchase in less than six months but hey we all have our personal justifications for getting another right. All i can say is that I am finally a proud GLOCK owner (Glock 19 RTF). I recently jumped into the firearm world, WHY DIDNT SOMEONE TELL ME ITS SO ADDICTIVE!!! LOL thnx again Silent Bob.

And I have to also pimp UAG (Bob) as being a great guy to deal with!
He's shipped & received several firearms for me and has always treated me well.
 
I have purchased 3 guns so far from Bob at the shows...good guy to work with. He would remember me as the funky dude walking around with a longbow to trade for a firearm.

I saw a Sig like that or very similar to it, at the last gunshow I went to.
They have a good feel in the hand.
I haven't had a chance to shoot one yet though.

Believe it or not I still have not put a round through it. I have been so tied up with work and Honey Do projects that my range time has been sadly neglected. I have 3 new weapons to break in and they are all still virgins......Maybe this weekend I can pop at least one cherry....we will see.

Excuse my first post...

Are these the guys that have the $119 Mosins? I saw them at the last gun show at the fair grounds and I'm still kicking myself for not picking one up. I would really like to add one to my collection.
 
No Bob's UPState Armory and I don't recall him selling the items you mention. He's up in Fountain Inn. Great guy to deal with.

Amateur! My wife and I purchased three guns from him AT ONE SHOW. First time we'd ever met him. He's a great guy to do business with and the cheapest FFL transfer ($15) in the state.
 
Just jumping in here to say I bought the sig 250 from Bob this afternoon, and spent several hours shooting the breeze with him. He's awesome on a personal and business level; Andrew and I will definitely be going to him for future business, and his CWP course!
 
Upstate Armory Group FTMFW! We are definitely going to make another purchase within the next month. We are taking the CWP course this Sunday with Bob. I can tell it's not going to be one of those boring classes. Thanks Bob!

I know I have a wanted ad for something around $250, but when Bob pulled the Sig P250 Compact 9mm out, we had to have it. We got the extra dollars we needed in a paid off credit card... I know, that's bad, but I wanted us to have some more protection other than a Bursa .380, again, it's a great gun, we just needed a gun for each of us. Especially since I am not around too much to protect my family. Plus we are going to take my budget quoted in my wanted ad and just pay off most of the gun in the next few day. The other half will be payed before any interest hits.
