Need 5-6 rounds of each (not even sure that the Carcano stuff is 7.35 v.something else). Can be live or dummies. Will trade for like amount of .30-06 M2, .303, 7.62x54R, or 7.5 Swiss.

As some folks know, I'm into WWII era weapons, and have been collecting as I can. While the funds for the remaining Major Powers firearms are not available, I've been focusing on the ancillaries. For example, I just finished this:

G5QWyZ_lvGTyWN7GHQ9ocejuR7RNHZlQd5lLjB4SGMs=w570-h760-no

Which is, if the pic doesn't work, a shadowbox with bayonets from all 6 Powers and Switzerland, with flags to show what is what (don't get me started on how hard it was to find a small nazi battle flag, without buying it from the US version of Aryan Nations wackadoos).

I'm working on clips now. I've got, or have on the way, clips for USA, UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and Japan. Since I actually have some of those rifles I have ammo or fired brass I can dummy up for the display (I'm using cheap 7.62x54R projectiles for the .311-ish stuff, and 7.62x51 pulls for the .308-ish rounds). I don't have a Carcano or Arisaka yet so I don't have ammo for either, and don't want to buy a box of 20 just to display 5.

Before you chip your teeth cringing on the word 'clips', all stripper clips except the enblock Garand and carcano clips.

Good luck even finding a box of 20 on the 7.7. I have found some oddball
rounds in old tattered boxes at the Anderson Jockey Lot. I'll keep you in mind if I go anytime soon.

I think hornady makes vintage match in 7.7 jap. Also can convert .30-06 cases but need dies and trimmer for that.

I appreciate the offer to look - any help is a big help.

you know how you are holding something thinking "ill just throw this away but as soon as i do ill find a use for it"?

ill look for it but i think i threw away all but the clips.

i bought a bandoleer with ? 100 rds of black tip 30-06, 10 bullets, 2 5 rd stripper clips to a cardboard pack, 10 pockets.

there was a red manila slip in them that said "repacded in" and a date. i really cant remember the date, a stab would be the 40s.

so i know where the stripper clips are, i might can find the bandoleer, but ill probably not find the cardboard.

you are welcome to what i find except the bullets.

LOL c'mon blacktips are the best!

I have (lots) of Garand clips and about 6 1903 clips, with a 1940s era box for M2. If you have a box for M2AP that would be awesome - I do have some black tip ammo of my own.
