National Slots USPSA

In reality here is the sad part - if XXXXX win's a slot - nobody here will EVER know if he gives that slot to his buddy. Since the slots are paper slots - XXXXXX can get in his truck then do anything he wants with the slot.
If the section by laws stated that any unused slots went back to the section or the shooter list eligibility for fiture slots then that wouldn't be an option. Giving the slots to the next guy on the wait list stops the buddy system that probably wouldn't be a problem here but it could be someday.

I like the Oklahoma way.
Rob made slots available and I did not see much interest in his emai and thought what the heck.
Major matches are great experience and great practice, Tulsa is local, have the equipment, so why not was my thoughts.
I gave no consideration there would be people in the Production wings not getting a chance.
This got me to thinking, What if if I lived in Utah where Limited Nationals is and this situation was reversed.
The current rules allowed anyone who shot in the OK section to put their hat in the ring.
The current rules allow slot holder or alternate to do with as they please, I think.
My primary is 3gun, Limited USPSA is for practice and fun, or is it the other way around?
I have no desire to shoot this match ahead of good Production folks that are on the Alternate list.
I will shoot 10 or more Majors this year so I am not deprived.
As I understand it I have the option to pass my slot or trade.
No disrespect to the other alternates but I want to swap with Seth.
Currently I am 1st Alternate and Seth is Last.
Seth has already won the draw once and I would like to see him do it again.
For that fact I feel great putting him in my place.
I have not talked to Seth; I do not want to give him a chance to refuse.
So how about it Boomer Shooters, can you support me giving Seth 1st alternate?
Besides, Seth has a bad back and I would hate to see him pack Brandon's plunder.
Come on Boomer Shooters, Let Rob & Seth know this is okay with you folks.

Michael, as much as I would love to get one of the slots. The 2 people behind you are actually 2 of the 6 I was talking about earlier. They have been shooting production division for at least 8 or 9 months and I think that they would deserve it over me because I have only been shooting production since November. I would have to decline that offer for the meet fact that I gave up my slit for someone more invested in the division than I am and I wouldn't want to take that chance from anyone else. If you want to give your waitlist spot up for someone please give it up so Jason would be first in line because he is one of the production guys that is dedicating time and money into the same division. If you still want your slot then keep it as I will not take one over the 2 guys directly behind you on the wait list. I hope you see no disrespect in me declining and see why I have to decline such an offer.

I am also going to give this a stamp of approval!

Rob, Thanks for being so transparent on this matter. I think its great.

In in agreement I got my slot to nats and I'll show y'all how we roll in October. Now who is gonna carry my gear? Jesse? Seth? Wall? Benjamin?

If you are representing South Texas... they are doomed. Maybe you should ask one of your South Texas Daddies if it is OK that you talk like that. :)

How about we shoot the match to see whos carrying whos bags? Loser carries after each stage. Heck that's a sucker bet since your A class and I'm only B class.

Semi-Related: Is sandbagging frowned upon? because im unclassified currently and need to know how well to shoot my first classifiers. ;)
There is no need to sandbag. The timer takes care if that for you.
