Thats impressive!!
I'm a friend with the Osage County Game warden, that used to be stationed in the panhandle. He said that there are some people that came to the panhandle in huge motor homes, and use bench rest rifles with barrels that are 2" in diameter.
they set up and shoot out to 1K yds.

Prairie dog hunting is on my short list to do. We need to do a group thing, and find a land owner to let us do this.

There is the Rita Blanca National Grasslands out there.
Anybody know of some dog shooting out there?

I actually got him on the second try. First shot was about 8" left of it. A added a tick more wind and nailed him when he popped back up. I thought coyote hunting was fun until I went pdog huntin for the first time.

I'm in for a trip as well. Went Monday and shot a few as well. Got a couple good head shots with my rem 700 22-250. Probably around 125 yards out. The dog town isn't big enough to keep everybody shooting, unfortunately.
