My Glock 22 Limited

Had to part with most of my 3-gun stuff unfortunately. So I decided my treat for selling guns would be a Glock 22 for Limited (1 step forward, 2 steps back eh?). Found a place online with a dozen or so new RTF2's. Was expecting the "gills" but the straight serrations grew on me. Bar-sto barrel that I did a little fitting on, Vanek trigger, Dawson sights... magwell... basepads, and a glockworks mag release. Best part is I can take everything apart and back together myself lol.

Also started loading some 40 lead for fun. Going to start casting here when I get my Accurate mold in. The 200gr's are much softer than the 180's. Not sure if that's from the N340 powder or just the weight. Here's the bullet I will be using.

Looks good. I'm curious why you went G22 for limited instead of G35?

I know most people choose the 35, but to be honest, I just like the 22. It seems to balance well, could be different in a match. I'm telling myself its the Indian and not the arrow, and I'm not good enough to tell the difference.

Velocity of the bullets and power factor comes into play too. The shorter barrel means your reloads have to be hotter to meet PF than they would be in the longer barrel.

I wish they made a full length frame for the 34/35... Just for aesthetic purposes. I felt like the RTF2 would save me from having the grip stippled, saved me money to spend elsewhere. Owned a Gen4 17 for a month when they came out, had problems, and 4 RTF2's since. So i was a bit partial.

I have an rtf2 in my nightstand. It's grippy but nowhere near as grippy as a good scallop texture job.

RTF2 would be better for carry use as it won't rub your hip Raw or snag your shirt.

May have to test-drive a 35 if I get a chance... probably a poor decision for my wallet, but I'm excited to get started, even if it will be at a snails pace haha

May have to take you guys up on that in December. Didn't realize my camping trip with my dad weekend after next would interfere
