I have long wanted to run a steel framed gun after having started with an M&P 40 Pro. When Brandon got his Tanfoglio Elite Limited and he and I discussed the attributes and primarily the cost I thought this may be something I can afford to do. Then a good friend of Brandon's had an identical gun with only 50 rounds down the tube that he wanted to sell and the temptation was too much. I bought the gun and had it sent straight to Jim Bodkin of J.D. Sales in Canyon, Texas. I got the gun back a few weeks back and I am totally stoked with the outcome. That being said I am dedicated to running this platform in 2013 and hopefully for a long time.

Very nice looking pistol. I would love to know your thoughts on the differences in shooting this gun over your M&P40. Advantages/Disadvantages.

thanks,
James

Darby - come try one of my two - you gonna shoot Cresson in 2 weeks? I'll bring both of my limiteds if you want to try them!

I'm interested to hear your follow up on this. Is this platform what you anticipated? How it is performing? Likes & Dislikes?

I've shot M&P 9 Pro for a couple of years. Just bought a CZ 40 for Limited 10, but would like to some day step into the Limited class, so would very much like to hear about alternatives to the $3-4,000 custom builds.

Brook, I am planning to shoot my first match with this gun this coming Saturday. Prior to this I shot an M&P 40 Pro in Limited so this will be a different platform from the non-safety, primer M&P. I will try to give you some feed back and let you know my thoughts. I have been telling myself that the first few matches I need to concentrate on the gun's different attributes and to take it easy.

Walter
