I came across that YouTube video awhile back and thought there's no way I'm spending over an hour on a YouTube video. Hell, I watched it twice! Gave me a whole new appreciation for the way they did things back in the day.

If you can find an old publication by Sam Fadala buy it! It will explain everything you want to know about traditional muzzleloaders. This author published in the 1970's and 1980's.

Traditionalists only use real black powder. Pyrodex...blech!

Black powder is less corrosive than pryodex as well.
