Moving from PA to SC....or is it back to SC.

Good afternoon everyone!

My wife and I are planning to move to the Irma/Lexington,SC area from Pennsylvania in about a year. Figured I ought to start learning the new laws. A little background on myself can't hurt, I guess. I was actually born and raised in the Ft.Jackson area (Army brat) and now find myself in PA. My wife and I still visit SC every year and have decided to leave the comfort and security that we have here in PA for a new life in SC.

Luckily, PA is a free state when it comes to firearms, so I have been able to build up a nice collection of rifles and handguns. I'm an active Glock Armorer and love just about anything that has to do with firearms. I look forward to networking and hopefully meeting some nice people. Any advice you guys might be able to offer a young couple moving would be greatly appreciated as well! :mrgreen:

I currently live in Lexington but grew up in Irmo.

You'll be local to a couple big gun stores: Palmetto State Armory and Sportsman's Warehouse. Between the two you'll be close to guns, ammo, reloading supplies, and an indoor range.

There's a large mall and shopping area in Irmo called Harbison Boulevard, so that should keep the better half occupied while you go to the previously mentioned stores.
