I have been looking up collectible/custom shotguns.. And i found this....My link, and these are USED HOLLAND & HOLLAND shotguns! their shotguns range from 10,000 - 300,000$!! Has anyone here spent ANYWHERE near that for a gun??

Whats the most you have spent on a gun??

My 3 gun rifle is about $3000 and the scope is another $2000. But that nothing compared to these high dollar skeet and trap guns.

The most expensive gun I own was bought for $17. It's a Winchester Model 1873 in 32-20WCF that my great grandfather bought new. We had it appraised once a couple years ago at $3800. Although it really is priceless and will never be sold.

So far, the most I've spent is $1360 cash and trade for a brand new Desert Eagle Mark XVIV in .44 Mag. Was it worth it? Ooooooohhhh, yyyyeeeeaaaahhhh!

I don't care who makes it, there is no gun worth that kind of money. First tip off is that its in NY. That place probably caters to the insanely rich.

Funny thing is, the people who buy those type of firearms would probably be destroyed by one of the regular locals shooting trap at OKCGC

i can justify a nice... 3000 to 6000 dollar rifle, but 20,000 let alone 150000!!! my wife would MURDER me with the overpriced gun

If a guy is a billionaire what $300k on a one of a kind gun? I can't imagine it but i would spend it If I had it.

If you were a billionaire, would you really buy one of those guns? Being actually involved in the gun/competition/self defense culture that we are?

I'd buy a whole lot of >10k custom guns. Support all the small time custom gun makers that support our sport. I might grab a dillon mini gun on the way but why not?

Early in January I went to the yearly Dallas Safari Club get together, there were a lot of double rifles in the 30,000 - 175,000 dollar range.
Several times I had to take a second look as I would see one with a 5 or 6 K price tag only to look closer and see it would actually be 50 or 60 K.
Back in the day when I shot a lot of trap and if I would have had the money I would have bought a expensive trap gun but I had to settle for a Model 12 trap.
Today I am satisfied using those Benelli shotguns and Kimber rifles and M&P pistols for my everyday use.

This is exactly how I feel. I'd have some freakin nice custom guns it'd be awesome. But I don't think I'd spend even close to six figures on a shotgun no matter how much money I had. Although an AA-12 and alot of mags might be tempting if it was just my pocket change.

These places usually have guns you can buy right off the shelf; however, most folks who can afford such rarly by off the shelf. They go in an just like buying a fine suit, they have tailors there who take all your measurements to fit the gun to you personally. During my time in Germany with the US Army, I went to a couple of these store's to have a look. Business casual is minimum allowed that will get you in. You can't just stroll in off the street in jeans and t-shirt, they'll turn you around at the door. The one in Frankfurt will let you handle, but they will issue you a pair of white cotton gloves. Regardless of how you'd feel about this, its still a cool place to visit, its makes someplace like BassPro look like WalMart.

After posting what I did about those high-class guns, my most expensive purchase is my Walther KKJ Sporter in .22lr. A little over 750.00. Sorry but I'm a sucker for a Walther firearm.

My Russian Dragunov is my most expensive gun. BUT....I can clear a cool 8-12K profit any time I decide to sell it I believe. And yes, I shoot the elephant dung out of it.

Sorry, I can't see spending twice as much as I did on my house for a shotgun. I am currently the guardian of a Franchi Over and Under 12 gauge that was given to my son by my father in law. It is worth about $2K, and it is a damn nice shotgun, but my Benelli SBE 2 is about $1200 and shoots just as good if not better. You would be hard pressed to convince me that a gun that cost 10 or 100 times my current shotguns is a better gun. Besides, if I had that kind of money to spend, I think I would be into more quantity of guns and ammo.
