I bought one for super cheap cause the person selling it thought it was screwed up since the action was real stiff and hard to cycle.
I brought it home and opened it up to find it gunked up with what seemed to be ball bearing grease, real thick and sticky stuff.
After cleaning it up with some carb cleaner, I lubed it with some break free and put it back together and now it's smooth as silk. Can't wait to get it out to the range and try it.

Does anyone here have experience with this little .22 semi auto rifle? Likes or dislikes?
I'm thinking if it's a good reliable straight shooter, it'll be more fun with a scope and a threaded barrel ;)

Are you happy now Burk? I bought this as a project to keep me busy for a lil bit. I'll have to get rid of the rust and either reblue or cerakote it. I'll probably end up sanding and redoing the clear on the wood as well.

I don't have a clue who bought it. Sorry for beating you to this mossberg :)

I'm hoping to fix it up real nice so that I won't want to sell it, but if I do, you'll be the first on the list.
