Monthly 2 Gun at USSA(300 yard stage)

We are introducing a monthly 2 Gun match at USSA.

Rifle/pistol, 3 GN rules.

We will have one stage on the 300 yard bay, one 3GN Classifier, and 3 other stages mixing it up with high round counts for both guns.

Expect a few pistol targets out to 50 yards every match.

The schedule will be determined in the next week or so. Expect the first match in May.

I'll be the MD, and will still do ProAm in months that have a 5th Saturday.

I look forward to seeing you guys on the range.

Rifle/pistol bro, the idea is to introduce shooters to multi gun who are intimidated by shotgun reloads, and fill in gaps that exist in current matches to allow for major match practice.

We will use the 300 yard bay every match. We may even run a few pistol targets out to 100 yards. I'm totally open to shooter input.

With my gamer loads, I'll be aiming at the top of the berm to hit the target at the base of it!

Please setup the 3 Gun Nation Pro Series Stages so we can field a full squad of shooters to the qualifier.

I'm not totally sure how the classifiers work in conjunction with qualifying for the pro series qualifier match, but I assume having a second classifier stage available each month will help.

I'd love nothing more than to RO a full squad of locals next February. I know we have a bunch of locals who are good enough to make the tour...

Planning on it. We are putting the finishing touches on our 300 yd range in Ponca, so I can see myself putting a lot of practice time on it.

About 2 hour ago i posted on okshooters that i thought 2 gun would be easier for a novice to get into shooting competition because you have one less gun you have to buy ammo for in bulk to practice with.

Almost everyone has an AR and can stick an extra mag in their back pocket. I think and hope this match will introduce a lot of new shooters to Multigun....

How big will the taget be on the hand gun at 50 or 100 yards? And for the ar at 300 yards how big the target?

C zone chest plate or bigger for pistol.

We were shooting 10" plates at 300 yesterday at Old Fort. We will use what the Academy has. I know we have rifle chest plates and have a rifle plate rack coming. We also have Larue style poppers. Not sure what else, but we will mix it up each month.

Guys, the 300 yard bay has berms at 100, 200, 300. We will use all of them...

Long pistol shot will be in each match, but expect no more than a few...
