Memories of 2011

I accumulated a pile of 2nd and 3rd place trophies and plaques. (it was a small pile)
Just one 1st place plaque this year. Oh well.

I made to the finals of a shootoff at a Major match. (choked)
And I won a rifle at the Ark Multi Gun match.

No speeding tickets. (3 warnings)

Without a doubt, my daughter finally getting her dream wedding on the beach in the Bahamas.

In 2011 I got a Master's degree and a Les Baer.

In 2012 I'm going to actually get a USPSA classification, hoping for not-D-class. Baby steps.

The Bad:

• In an attempted robbery/car jacking, a shithead attacked me with a knife and I was able to defend myself. However, minutes later I find that there was another shithead who stabbed me twice from behind.
• Medical bills

The Good:

• I'm still alive and other than some nasty scars, I'm pretty much 100%
• Switched from from being self employed to joining a great creative user experience company (was good for me, given the situation.)
• Bought a new 2011 F-150 truck!

For 2012:

• Recoup my finances.
• Start doing more competitions so everyone can be in awe / make fun of my mall ninja skills...
• Maybe meet a kick ass lady, who also enjoys shooting.
• Possibly going back to grad school again.... but this time for an MBA.
