May 25th OKCGC Three Gun is Cancelled

Its Memorial day weekend, Kurts teaching a class, Curly and Will will be out of town, and I have a busy week coming up. Sorry to all those that were looking forward to it. It will be up on the website soon, too.

Theres a 3g match at USSA on the 26th I believe, so all is not lost.

Believe me, everyone involved takes 3gun very seriously.
Unfortunately, schedules sometimes conflict & there isn't anything that can be done about it.

These are scheduled every six weeks. Isn't that enough time to synchronize schedules?

Last month conflicted with USPSA Multigun Nationals and the match director placed 3rd overall and many others from the club were also attending. This month, it's a holiday weekend and everyone is out of town or at the lake and drinking beer floating on one of those little dinosaur inflatable rafts. Some may also be taking the opportunity to take the match director's 3gun class. the match schedule will get back to normal soon.

Quit bitching. If you look at a major 3 gun schedule and holiday calendar, you can pretty much put a question mark on okcgc 3gun matches every April and May.

Don't confuse my questions with bitching... If April and May are conflicts, why schedule those dates? If I can arrange my schedule, why can't others. Just asking.

Those match dates are set for that club for the whole year. Major matches don't always have the same schedules year after year so sometimes they conflict. It just happens.
I'm not happy about it being cancelled either cause I've missed the past few due to ammo shortages and now that I finally found some I'm ready to roll, but alas... Other things happened too so I'll just patiently wait and catch it next month.

You can all come up to Tulsa on Sunday and shoot 3 gun. So not all is lost.

Although there are many who help put on the match, There are only 3 people allowed to RUN the match & unfortunately they're all unavailable this month.
We should be back in action next month though.
