It was posted on another forum that I frequently use that there is interest
from OK shooters in the match "goings-on" in the North Texas area.
Here's the landscape for USPSA weekend matches in NTX.
1st Saturday - Johnson County Sport Shooter Assoc (4 stages, 100 rounds, Cleburne TX, just south of Ft Worth)
2nd Saturday - North Texas Practical Shooters (6-7 stages, 150 rounds, Greenville TX)
3rd Saturday - nada (Waco is the closest)
4th Saturday - Double Tap Ranch (6 stages, 150 rounds, Wichita Falls TX) I think Robert Porter is starting to do some 3-gun stuff this year too - best to check with him for specifics.
Before there was a Double Tap Ranch, and North Texas Practical Shooters, a few of us would occasionally drive to OKC to shoot.
Fun time - long day. It's been a few years since I've been to the 1st Saturday USPSA match at the OKC gun club.
Travel companions make the drive worthwhile.
Hope to see a few of y'all in the NTX area at one of our matches sometime.
