A new addition to my 1911 .22 Conversion Unit stable.
Marvel's "New" Unit 2 that now locks back on a empty magazine. Previous generations did not. Fit and finish is perfect. A matte blue with a polished barrel. This model is called the "Practical" and has a scalloped rib. A traditional round top "Government" model is available. I opted for the fibre optic front sight. It shoots very well but not as accurate as the Unit 1. The Unit 2 is marketed as the practice/plinker conversion and the Unit 1 is for serious competition. The Unit 2 (front pistol) is mounted on my Norinco M1911-A1 that has a host of Wilson Combat and Dlask parts and wearing RoCo stocks. The Unit 1 (rear pistol) is mounted on my Colt Combat Elite XSE frame with a Vortex Venom reflex sight and RoCo "The Master" stocks.
