Caught on film. Husband of Sen. Gabby Gifford that was shot, and are now proponents of the anti-gun movement.

It appears to me that being caught on film he will now turn over the "assault weapon" he bought to the local PD, but no mention was made of the 1911.

Why would he need anything more than a double barrel shotgun and a single shot pistol to defend his family??

I guess he doesn't want to get caught flat footed like his wife. It's understandable, however, extremely hypocritical. On a side note I used to live in Tucson, and my good friend used to live in an apartment across the street from the grocery store she was shot at. I could have been on a typical beer run between guitar jam sessions and been in the cross fire. I guess I left Tucson at the right time.

What a dumb move in his part. If he wanted to price it was easy to buy a gun he could have went to the ghetto and paid cash to a thug. All he did was prove its easy for a law abiding citizen to buy a gun just like it should be. I hope he needs to use that gun for self defense someday.

He is just like Dem. Sen. Robert Soles, they are anti gun when it for the public but not themselves. Sen. Robert was also Anti gun but shot a intruder with his personal weapon at his house.

Supposedly the Giffords are pro gun and own handguns. If they own any type of firearm they should have known what the process was. Unless someone gave their firearms to them or they bought them privately.To post it on facebook to make the uninformed more aghast was a cheap stunt. Why don't they take a convicted felon in and film him getting rejected? We have a mass of uninformed people trying to tell the informed what their rights are. The more uninformed they can make the uninformed the better off they are. I think Bloomberg just bought Kelly a AR and .45 for doing a stunt for him. If you have a person who has never seen a dog turd or a potato and tell him the dog turd is a potato and vice versa. He is going to think the potato tastes like elephant dung and the dog turd tastes good.
