Man am I screwed up

Thanks guys. Surprised to see this thread resurrected. I bought some stick-on bifocals in the power of my reading glasses and stuck one on the top of my shooting glasses. So far so good. I can see fine, then just have to tilt my head down a little to shoot. Man is the front sight in focus. Of course, the target is way out of focus, but I can still see it out to 25 yards or so. Shot at the indoor range tonight with just my reading glasses on and shot much better than I had been. Also got a lot more hi-viz front sight that really gives me something to focus on. Thanks again.

I'm using Rudy Projects with progressive lenses. So far, they're doing the job.

I had a pair of Wiley glasses made at my eye doctor that has the bifocals on the top half of the lens. Works great for me. until I lost them at a match. Dam it

OP i have same problem. I went low buck at eyemasters and just got safety glass frames w/ polycarb lenses for my regular daily wear glasses and they came with nice side shields that can be removed easily.

I quit wearing them, though, and went back to shooting with no glasses. It was really hard on my eyes trying to constantly go back and forth.

I do better without glasses too, but safety says to have something on to protect the eyes.

Have you tried some industrial safety glasses with no correction?

Sorry, I didn't mean with no glasses. I just meant with no bifocal lens in my shooting glasses. I've found that the more I shoot, the more my right eye is adjusting to focus on the distance of my pistol sight. I don't know if that's good or not, but it helps my shooting.
