That nine year old girl really deserved to kill her father, grow up without him, get married and have kids that will never know their grandparent, and live with the fact that, while it certainly was he that screwed up, she pulled the trigger.

In your jump to be offended or shocked you demonstrated that your thinking process is as poor as your reading ability. She didn't kill her father.

She killed a "firearms instructor" that thought a tiny, weak, untrained child could handle a tiny, lightweight machinegun with a 1700 round per minute cyclic rate of fire. He demonstrated to everyone that handles guns exactly what not to do. That value only came after his death. What value did he have before that? Clearly he wasn't a competent firearms instructor.
