M45 A1 CQB Finish

I ordered a new Colt M45 A1 and was told if I wanted the Desert Tan finish I needed to get the CQB for an extra $500, as the regular Blue box only ws available in Ion Bronze or something. So I agreed and the gun store ordered the Desert Tan model...a few days go by and I get a call that my pistol is in. I walk in and the guy shows a FDE finish Green box model. He says the CQB does not come in Desert Tan...is this true?
