I am looking at purchasing an apex trigger kit for my M&P and a timney trigger for my AR. I know that Youtube videos on installation of both are abound, but I am always worried about messing something up. Apex claims their turn around time is 10 to 12 weeks. Does anyone know of a local gunsmith (Edmond/OKC area) who would do either or both installs with a short turn around time? 2 to 3 week turn around would be ideal so I can take them to the range for a try before the next match.

If you're really uncomfortable doing the work, I can get it done for you in my shop while you sit and watch me.

Do you have beer?

Thanks Matt. I'll get ahold of you when I get the parts in. Hopefully watching someone put it together in person will help me understand the process for the future.

You might want to try CMC triggers, they are drop in triggers and made in Ft Worth, a little cheaper than Timney and real easy to install. I put one in my M & P 15 and M & P 10.
They are set for a 3# pull, very satisfied with mine

I'll look into them. Still have not decided on what to get for my AR.

CMC is nice, I have one of those and also a black rain blue trigger. They're both pretty nice triggers without spending a car payment on it.
