Looking for a 16" version of Nordic 18" comp barrel

So since my local 3 gun matches only go out to 200 yards I'm thinking I need to build a new upper. Since I use a JP LMOS BCG in my 18" and also have a spare. I'd like to use it in my new upper. I'd like to find a barrel where I can use the JP BCG without needing an adjustable GB. Is there one that's being made similar to Nordics?

A lightweight 16" with mid length gas is probably going to be your best bet.
Daniel Defense and BCM have some I believe.

But do they make one that I can use a low mass BCG without using a adjustable gas block?

Yeah. Just play with the weight of the buffer to get it where you want.
I use a low mass bcg with standard gas block in mine. I just removed all the weights from the buffer to get the recoil where I wanted it.

So do you use the jp low mass buffer? Or go with a carbine buffer

You can take the weights out of a standard buffer by popping out the roll pin and removing the plastic tip.

Okay I was planning to use my existing lower so adjustable gas block will be cheapest route for me
