well maybe not save money, but spread out the spending so I don't get put in the doghouse!!!

I may be interested in running another group buy for complete uppers again this summer around July. I ran one last fall and it was successful, although not as successful as I had hoped. I had a bout 15 people who stated that they were interested initially completely back out, but Erik was kind enough to honor the group rate, even though it was only half what I originally promised him.

Seems like the price of Loki uppers have gone up about $100 since my last group buy and not sure how much of a discount he's willing to provide this time around.

prices seem to have gone up at least 10% from 2011, demand is high, BUT, you can count me in

Demand is real high right now, many companies are 3+ month behind, and components are hard to get. Hopefully we will start seeing this order any day....... :O

Be patient. Loki's popularity has risen quite a bit since the last group buy so they have many more orders to fill.
No more negativity in this thread or ill pay off one of the mods to swing the ban hammer at you

I talked to Erik about some other stuff yesterday, & Matt is right, they are slammed & components have been hard to get. He did tell me he just got alot of the stuff he's been waiting on so things should get back on track very soon.

Again, this is the nature of the beast with group buys.
If you need your stuff fast, you shouldn't try to get it from a group buy.

I'll throw in my .02 cents.

I've been a part of many group buys over the last several years, in 4 states. On the Loki buy, we really don't have a lot to complain about. Although the wait might be what some didn't expect, I can tell you I have waited a year for a 80% 1911.

We are getting very high quality parts for prices that (if you’re a part of the group buy you know) are unbeatable. You can't get a Delton lower for what we paid.

Well worth the wait, and thanks for Matt for putting it together and putting up with all the criticism.
