Does Loki make their own LPK or do they order from somewhere? Was thinking about tracking down a DD LPK to put in the Loki lower that I hope eventually makes it here but wouldn't mind keeping it 100% Loki if I could.

I HIGHLY doubt they make their own. Virtually all companies buy their parts and then repackage them. LOKI doesn't manufacture most of the stuff they sell.

I thought everybody bought LPK's from Stag Arms parent company Continental Machine Tool Company?

Yea there are really only a handful of companies that actually make their own parts at all. There are I think 3 or 4 major manufacturers that make AR parts in the US

Mine came in a CMMG box. But I got the Fail Zero? coating so it isn't exactly mil spec. The coating and JP springs make it pretty nice. Not JP nice but light years ahead of standard.

I imagine it would be damn near impossible to make every spring, detent, and all the other components in house and still be profitable. Especially for a company as green as Loki. What they make is good, but being able to build a solid AR from another company's parts is where the profit is.

Byron, really any LPK is as good as any other. The trigger may be different but the milspec trigger almost always blows compared to an aftermarket trigger like JP or Giessele. If you're going to swap that out anyway, it probably won't matter about the other small stuff in the LPK.

I always use DPMS lpk's and and do a light sanding of the trigger/hammer then install JP springs. I'm too poor for a factory JP or gieselle trigger unit.

I didn't figure they made their own LPK but just didn't know the source. Sounds like I'll just locate about any LPK and jack with the trigger later. Thanks.
