local lifter welding?

Anyone local weld up shotgun lifters or am I better off just sending it off to C-Rums or someone else?

C Rums is the only guy that does it as far as I know.

If you take it to Accurate Iron he may have a lifter in stock that's already welded so you can just swap yours out with no waiting.

If I had a Benelli or something equally fancy I'd give that a shot but I'd be surprised if he had CZ712 lifters in stock.

he's been doing work on the 712's so you might give him a shout.
Never hurts to check.

Yeah I doubt Mike has a bunch of 712 lifters lying around but you never know.

You might call Jeff at C Rums and ask about getting yours welded. Turn around time maybe a few weeks. Last time I sent a Benelli lifer he had the welded ones in stock and just sent a finished part back right away but with the 712 you may have to wait your turn.

Might be better to buy another lifter to send off so your not without a gun for awhile.
