I've done a bit of reading on the Lionheart LH series of pistols. They look pretty interesting. They're an updated version of the old Daewoo DP-51. Anybody shot one?

I ordered the MK-II a couple days ago. It's the same as the LH9 except for the added rail. Lionheart had a 10% off sale that ended the 25th. I just can't resist a sale on guns. I didn't get the Novak model. I'm hoping that if I decide to change sights that some are made for this pistol by then or I might just have it cut for Novak sights. Anybody shot one of these yet besides Scalpel Arms?

I picked up the Lionheart tonight. Sweet ass pistol. Comes in a very nice soft carrying case. Mine included a handwritten note. Forged alloy frame, forged 4140 slide, forged 4150 barrel, Cerakote finish, good fit, neat DA+ action, nice grips and it feels good in my hand. Only negatives are I wish I would have bought the model with Novak sights and I wish the trigger guard was undercut. My middle finger rides pretty hard under the trigger guard because I'm used to a very high grip. I'll post a range report soon.

This pistol isn't on the production list though it seems it would fit the requirements, just isn't on the list. Is it likely club matches would allow me to shoot it in production?

The DA+ mode is interesting. If I chose to shoot it in a local match and was allowed to shoot in production would DA+ mode with hammer down be ok to start or would I have to put the safety on?
