Lets talk gun lubrication

Hoppes Gun Oil, Remington Oil and white lithium grease

I want the needle attachment that Mike Cyrwus uses on his oil bottle.

Is the one you saw at ACE like this one?

I use one of these. Works really well. Only downside is no lid, small piece of rubber tube with one end melted works good for that though.

Ive been using Pro-Shot ZF1. http://shop.proshotproducts.com/ZF-1-ZF-1.htm
It comes in a 1 ounce needle bottle for around 5 bucks. Its a synthetic oil and is rated from -75 to over 500 degrees

I also use a little Hoppes #9 gun grease between the slide and frame on my 1911

I still use LSA because nothing works better that I have ever seen. CLP was a mistake as far as I am concerned, I remember transitioning to it while in the ARMY and it was primarily because they were trying to come up with a all in one solutuion so they did not have to issue bore cleaner and LSA. I just think LSA is slicker and seems to work better. If your worried about extreme cold then by all means I am sure you can still find some LWA around but LSA has never failed me. take it FWIW

Chief walked into my office last week. I had a syringe containing oil with a 30gauge needle on my workbench. He looks at it and asks "what is that?". I told him I was trying to bulk up. He didn't see the humor in that until I showed him the quart of Mobile1 sitting on the shelf.
