take a look at a newer remington. There is a v pattern hole in the safety. you slip that in and turn it and it will lock the safety and not allow it to function.

Interesting. I did not know that. The only Remington I have had in the last 10 years is an 11-87.

Ok, for another guessing game.
A lady that knows I'm into guns pulled me to the side recently and gave me this key.
She quietly told me she found this, thought it was a handcuff key and I could have it.
Pretty much speech less for a minute or two, wondering where this was going.
So I finally blurted out that I thought it was a key lock for a gun and stuffed it into my pocket.
It does have Smith and Wesson on it.

Smith & Wesson has been making handcuffs for as long as I can remember.
That's a handcuff key, the pin on the back is for double locking the cuffs.
