The S&W 1911 forum isn't getting any love. Here's my E-Series. I got it several months ago but still haven't taken it to the range. I generally prefer the plainer looks of my DW's, but something about the fish scales drew me in.

I approve of this gun. LOL, nice looking one. I am somewhat concerned with your lack of range time...

My situation has changed fairly recently and range time got bumped down the priority list a good bit. One of these days I'll get there though!

It's all good. I have a few guns I haven't fired yet. With work and life it's hard to find time.

Unfired guns.. WTF!

Just joking, sometimes you have to work to get money for guns, or do other non gun things. Looking forward to a reloading and range day this weekend down in South Louisiana. :D

I am a big fan of S&W 3rd Generation Performance Center pistols. Here are a few recent additions (two different versions of the S&W 845--one from 1997 and the other from 1998). These are fantastic shooters.

I just picked up this S&W Performance Center PPC long slide. These were only available to law enforcement back in the day (been looking for a long slide version for quite some time); can't wait to get her to the range.

Years ago I bought a S&W 945 no dash. Nice pistol.

Soon after S&W came out with their 1911 variants I bought one of the billboard ones in Commander size with a Scandium/Aluminum frame.

And more recently a couple of the new Perf Center 1911s which are sort of cousins to the E Series.

From revolver land a 325PD with a Scandium/Aluminum frame and Titanium Cylinder. It shoots 45ACP.

Liking your 325PD a lot, dakota!
