Some of the most famous guitars have been named after women. BB King's "Lucille" and Roy Buchanan's "Nancy" come to mind.

Only named one of my guitars ... a PRS with a McCarty sunburst, I call "Booker". More of paying homage to my late Chocolate Lab than the bourbon.

The sunburst on that thing is beautiful. I play a Epiphone Les Paul Special, which is the $199 imitation of that thing, but I've had it since I was 15 and it sounds about as good as I can play.
The older Epiphones were build on the same work benches as the Gibson line. Kalamazoo MI... to sad it's all just a registered trademark now days...

They are still making them at 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo under the name "Heritage Guitar".

I always thought of Burk as a Flying V kind of man, but I guess if he wants a Les Paul so he can share his feelings ...
