Les Baer TRS hanging up on reload from slide lock.

I've had similar problems with the WB 230 grain round nose. It wasn't with my 1911 though. I changed every spring from the mags to the return spring and still had the problem. Stopped using the WB and the problem went away. Changed all the springs back to the originals and the pistol cycles flawlessly. Just my two cents. I haven't used WB since.

'I think I got a bad batch of 230 ball ammo and the unpolished chamber doesnt help.'
I think this could well be your problem.
Remove your barrel and try dunking those rounds into the chamber. If they fall into place easily and flush with the barrel hood they should give you no issues.
Alternately, you might have a few tired mag springs which are a relatively cheap fix and good assurance should you decide to replace them with new ones.
Good luck but sometimes it's a path of trial and error.
